Every Fourth of July week, my family heads up to our mountain home in North Carolina for some time together and a break from the Florida heat. This year was no different, and we were actually able to get nine days away to relax, play in the woods, shop some of our favorite boutiques, and celebrate the fourth as a family.
Every year we consider participating in the Country Club’s golf cart parade, where everyone decorates their golf cart and parades through the neighborhood throwing candy and necklaces, but we just never seem to get our act together. However, we did manage to celebrate the holiday with our matching pjs from The Mulberry Tree.
From the time Juliet was born, pjs have been one of my favorite things to buy. Baby and toddler pjs are just too cute. And if you follow my Instagram, you also know that I like to match with my girls
on occasion a lot. So matching my girls, in our pjs, is just the best of both worlds.
We had so much fun playing and lounging around the house in our pjs, and I just loved that each set was unique in it’s fabric and monogram.
The Mulberry Tree also specializes in party decor, garland, and banners, and the girls loved playing with their Fourth of July garland all over the house!
We order matching Christmas pjs every year, and last year we ordered from a different company that had sent us a catalogue in the mail. When we received the pajamas, I was sent the correct sizes in the tops, but two size 2t bottoms. Anniston was only 9 months old and there was absolutely no way we could make them work. I was so disappointed with the error the company had made, and because it was so close to Christmas, there was nothing we could do.
This year, I will not let that happen again. The customer service at The Mulberry Tree is amazing, and they were even willing to make Juliet’s pants to her exact leg length to make sure they fit her! I look forward to getting our matching Christmas pjs this year! I know it is only July, but is it really ever too soon to start shopping for Christmas?
The Mulberry Tree has been kind enough to offer a 25% discount to my readers on all pajama orders placed in July! Just mention the coupon code “JulyChristmas” and get 25% off of your order!
This season Nordstrom has been my go-to place for summer tops, the best denim, and my favorite wedges. I put together a little instagram round-up of some of my favorite pieces and provided all of the links for you to shop each look.

Now that summer is in full swing (my car said it reached 101 degrees today), it is officially my favorite season to dress my little girls. I just love everything about toddler-girl dresses, bubbles, and sunsuits. If you follow my instagram, you are probably already aware that I love buying matching outfits for the girls, but I actually like coordinating pieces even more. I find it so difficult to find pieces that go together but aren’t exactly the same.
When we were able to drag the kids away from the beach, we managed to do some sightseeing around Charleston as well. We all knew that it would be difficult to have planned activities each day with six kids of all different ages, so we really just picked three main things that we wanted to do away from the beach.
