Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Favorites

I just couldn’t resist shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and I have rounded up some of my favorites to share with you all!

For those of you that don’t know, I worked as a manager, then a regional merchandiser, for Nordstrom for nine years before becoming a stay-at-home-mom. So, I have oh-so-many memories of the Nordstrom sale, and most of those memories involved exhaustion, stress, and anxiety. So, I pretty much know all of the ins and outs of the sale, and don’t actually get that excited to shop it. However, I am always excited to sneak away for some alone time when I can, and I did see a lot of cute pieces that I wanted to try on. Although I didn’t end up with bags upon bags of clothes and shoes, I did find some things that I absolutely loved!

This top.

It comes in three colors and is really the perfect top to dress up or down for now and later. I can wear this straight from summer into fall and winter in Florida. It comes in three colors and is only $31.90. I got the blue striped in store and ordered the pink online.

This Cold-Shoulder Sweater.

I just love, love, love this sweater. The color is perfection and it was my favorite cold-shoulder piece I tried on. It comes in three colors and is only $31.90.

This Sweater.

Another cold-shoulder option. I loved this one too, but it was a little heavier than the BP one, so not as great for our 80 degree winters.

This Free People Sweater.

This sweater is just so cozy. I loved the color and I think this is the perfect everyday sweater for the season. It comes in four colors (I got the color Rose) and is on sale for only $64.90.

The Must-Have White Tee.

That’s it. It’s a must-have. And only $15! It comes in several colors, but I just picked up the white one.

I tried all three of these long card’s to see which one would be my favorite of the season. The first is this Leith Circle Cardigan. I liked it, but I don’t love all of the bunching behind my neck, so I passed. The second was this lightweight BP cardigan. It is a great price and I loved the fit, but I went with number three. The third option was this Madewell cardigan, and it is by far the best one on the sale. It is so soft I literally didn’t want to take it off. I loved the color and if it wasn’t so hot out, I would start wearing it today!

This Tank.

I think I am holding in a laugh in this picture. I love the idea of this tank for the gym or errands, but it is just so not me. I don’t even recognize myself.

This Cold-Shoulder Sweatshirt.

Love this easy basic! It is the softest sweatshirt and the best pale pink. It’s not often you will find this color for fall, so I had to get it.

This Top.

I love a great white shirt with a twist, so the sleeve on this top was the perfect reason for me to buy another white shirt. Love it and it is only $29.90!

This Top.

I get my long sleeve basics at Nordstrom every year. You can’t beat this one, it is only $18 and comes in six colors!

This Sweater.

I had to have this. It is so soft and so comfortable. I loved this color, and although I’m not sure it looks so flattering in this picture, I am obsessed! Plus, it’s only $24.90!

Okay, I saved my favorite top for last. It may look simple, basic, boring, or like something you have seen before, but it. is. everything. It is the softest thing I have ever purchased, the length is perfect to wear with skinny jeans or leggings, and it is the piece that I will probably wear the most in fall and winter. It is this sweater/top/sweatshirt/perfection.

I also found the cutest booties for fall. I got these and they are the perfect shoe to wear now and transition into fall and winter. I got the color fog and they seriously go with everything in my closet.

Just like every year, I found the sale to be perfect for stocking up on basics. I found some great pieces that I can wear now and also some sweaters that I just cannot wait to wear this fall!
